Steps from the beach and miles from the crowd, the South Beach Inn is one of the last of South Padre Islands originals. It is located just half a block from the Gulf of Mexico, uniquely nestled among stylish homes in this quiet residential section of beautiful South Padre Island. For the enjoyment of the non-smoking guests, the inn offers an indoor environment that is completely smoke free. Guests who smoke can do so on the patio at their rooms front door. The inn offers private, free parking at ones rooms rear door with the lawn and large pool (said to have been the first on the island) just outside ones front door. The 10 clean, comfortable, ground floor efficiencies feature the standard amenities as well as full-size kitchen appliances. The second floor junior suites open onto a semi-private patio with view of the pool area. The office hours are typically 9:00 am to 6:00 pm though arrangements can easily be made for after-hours arrivals. Extra persons of five years and above are charged at 5 USD - 20 USD per night, depending upon season.
